About

Andrew Shore

Marketing strategy for complex technology.

I connect technical expertise with market understanding, shaping how complex products are positioned, communicated, and brought to market.

Experience & scope

Technical depth. Commercial perspective.

For the past eight years, I have led marketing at NANOVEA, a global scientific instrumentation company serving research, development, and quality control.

My scope spans brand and positioning, campaigns, digital experiences, and sales communication, aligning efforts across international offices, laboratories, distributors, and partners.

I work closely with sales to refine how technology is presented and turn customer questions into market insight. Reporting directly to the CEO, I own strategy and execution and have managed direct reports in marketing analytics, coordination, and software development.

The path

From political science to marketing leadership.

My original ambition was to become a diplomat and work in the European Parliament.

That led me to study political science at Jagiellonian University. For my master’s, I chose Intellectual Property Management within the Faculty of Law and Administration, broadening my education toward the private sector.

Alongside those studies, I was drawn to art, design, and creative work. I became the person others approached for university event posters and banners. A first paid project revealed that something I already enjoyed could become a profession.

Freelance work followed, with clients across Europe, the United States, and Canada. It taught me more than design: how to understand a brief, negotiate, manage relationships, and take responsibility for delivering the work.

Eventually, I wanted to understand marketing from inside an organization and to help shape the decisions behind the work as well as create it. That brought me to NANOVEA, where my role grew from multimedia communications through brand and communication strategy to marketing leadership.
